The Kansas Canoe and Kayak Association coordinates a listing for canoe trips within and outside the state.  Visit their web site to learn more about the organization and their planned outings.

Detailed information about paddling the Kaw River, including access points and river miles, may also be found on their web site.

Click here for paddling information about several other rivers and major streams in Kansas.

The Friends of the Kaw has an active outing schedule also, as does the Arkansas River Coalition.

Canoeing in Kansas is great fun and is an excellent way to experience
the unique wildlife and landscapes along our rivers!
This video from Mike Blair of Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks
chronicles one such float on a crisp October day in 2009.
